During christas time, none of my friends and I could agree on what Chritsmas mod to get on our Minecraft server, so I thought it would be fun to make my own.

I am happy with how it turned out as my first mod, and making it was straightforward enough, but I dind't find it that enjoyable. I am not a developer, and to me programming is more of a means to an end, so I did kind of just copy down what I wanted to do from tutorials, but it was still cool to get at least a sense from a big picture point of view of how a Minecraft Mod works.

Unfortunately, I was being a slacker and finished most of the features just before and even after Christmas. I hope to continue development of the mod during Christmas time in 2026, and port it to the latest Minectaft version. Below is a list of everything in the mod.

Can be placed as a decorative block and available in every dye colour

Can be placed on the side of blocks, gives off a light level of 4, and available in every dye colour

Raw Gingerbread Man gives the cooked version when smelted;

And Gingerbread Man gives you 4 hunger points when eaten.

Gives 4 hunger points when eaten;

Or can be crafted into a building block.

A sweet meringue-based dessert popular in New Zealand and Australia.

The block can be eaten in slices just like a regular Minecraft cake.

A decorative leaf thing you can place on the side of blocks
